patentGate is a multi user system. Each user has to log in with login and password to work with the system.

The input assistance supports you to fill in search queries or conditions at several points in patentGate.
In Settings (left menu in User) you can change the settings for the System configuration and the User data.
Descriptors are customer-specific classifications and keywords. Here we inform you about the different possibilities to work with descriptors.
As patent department or Verteiler you can define recipients. These will be displayed in the left frame when you create a circular. Like this you can choose them faster.
